People always ask me this question so I’m going to take a little space on my blog to explain what they actually are.
I’ve always admired the talents of great sports people and great teams including: basketball, football, baseball, cricket, rugby, ice hockey, soccer as well as individual sports like tennis or golf. I also like Formula 1, Nascar racing and the Motor GP.
I’ve kept records of these great sports stars and teams by collecting trading cards. Then buying box sets containing many cards. I didn’t just want the star player I wanted the whole team. Now with all these cards I wanted to display them but there was nothing to do just that.
Most people that collect trading cards either hide them in an album, or a drawer or in a shoe box under the bed when in actual fact they are a great display item. I wanted to design and create something that could make elaborate 3-D displays that looked great and were fun to make. Something that allows you to join your cards above, below, to the side and at many different angles. After a year of trial and error the Card Connectors were born.

I’ve made some very elaborate displays just to show what they are capable of. Some were over eight feet high with mobiles contained within them. You can make displays as high or as wide as you like and are limited only by the amount of cards or connectors you have, and they look great.
