Mount Baseball

People always ask me this question so I’m going to take a little space on my blog to explain what they actually are.

I’ve always admired the talents of great sports people and great teams including: basketball, football, baseball, cricket, rugby, ice hockey, soccer as well as individual sports like tennis or golf. I also like Formula 1, Nascar racing and the Motor GP.

I’ve kept records of these great sports stars and teams by collecting trading cards. Then buying box sets containing many cards. I didn’t just want the star player I wanted the whole team. Now with all these cards I wanted to display them but there was nothing to do just that.

Most people that collect trading cards either hide them in an album, or a drawer or in a shoe box under the bed when in actual fact they are a great display item. I wanted to design and create something that could make elaborate 3-D displays that looked great and were fun to make. Something that allows you to join your cards above, below, to the side and at many different angles. After a year of trial and error the Card Connectors were born.

Laws are part of everyday life and if those laws are broken so is order. Confusion and chaos mushroom. If we abide by the law we avoid pain and punishment. God gave man His laws for happiness and prosperity. He drew a line in the sand so to speak and told us that if we crossed it we would suffer pain, misery and death. Over thousands of years He chose and inspired certain men, that He revealed Himself to, and they wrote down their experiences and His laws of life in order for us today to have His complete instruction manual.

If you buy a car or computer or any complex device it comes with an instruction manual. God in His great wisdom gave us complex human beings His instruction manual so that He could sustain His universal creation in peace, happiness and order.

Modern christianity has been totally distorted and infiltrated with a counterfeit gospel, diluted with paganism, false teaching and today has evolved into total confusion and is nothing like the first century church Jesus founded! No wonder people get turned off religion. The instigator of this false religious system planned it that way.

They don’t teach you that the bible actually says that God created us to be His sons and daughters and we are to inherit the whole universe. There are enough planets out there for each of us to have our very own. But if we keep crossing His line in the sand and can’t get on with one another here on one planet and in fact are destroying it at a ridiculously rapid rate, how could He ever trust us with the universe. We would eventually turn it into a waring trash heap.

God want’s to share His creation with His children, just like we want to share our lives and possessions with our children. But in order for us to get on with one another and creation itself, we need to obey His laws. Mans problems are spiritual in nature not physical. We will never have a utopian society until we all acknowledge the one true God as supreme ruler and creator. We are pushing Him out of our lives and casting His laws of life aside, because we want to do things our way and want no restrictions in our lives.

We as a people are spiritually bankrupt! And the reason is because we are not being taught God’s truth. Anyone can put on a robe and become a priest but most of them are nothing but wolves in sheep’s clothing deceiving people simply to get a following or for personal financial gain and status. God’s truth should never be for sale! They talk about Jesus and love but don’t mention His message. Jesus was a messenger with a message about universal government.

I’m not here to convince anyone, I have proven God exists and I don’t have to prove it to anyone, but I do hope you don’t just dismiss it, but prove it for yourself. Yes you can prove God exists! He actually want’s you to prove it for yourself. He doesn’t expect you to just have blind faith.

Don’t just have a goal but the right goal. A lot of people do have a goal but it’s not the right goal, and it leads them to the wrong place. God has a goal and that goal is His purpose and thats the most important thing to God, and the most important thing to  man is to understand God’s purpose because that is God’s goal which regardless of what you or I say shall be accomplished the way He planned it. 

True success is a combination of the spiritual and physical. It’s a  perfect marriage that compliment each other. You must have a relationship with and acknowledge God as supreme ruler and creator. There is a plan for mankind that’s taking place, learn what it is and you will truly know what success is, making life a lot more meaningful and fulfilling. You can be spiritually rich and physically rich at the same time.

When things don’t seem to be going your way think of yourself as being at 211 degrees. Know that you need perseverance to turn you from good to truly great! Learn PERSEVERANCE and apply it vigorously.

Important as these laws are, they are not enough. Along the way you will encounter problems and setbacks. You may be going along smoothly and right on schedule, when suddenly CRASH! – out of nowhere comes an unexpected and untimely complication. 

A sudden circumstance pops up which seems to stop you completely or set you back at least. You must meet these constantly arising problems and you must have resourcefulness! You must have this quality to keep you moving forward, to solve the problem every time, overcoming the obstacle and continue onward toward you desired goal. Nothing must be able to stop you. You must find a solution and avoid derailment!

To continue your journey to success you must be resourceful and this would include: a clear mind, calm nerves, sound reasoning, a cool head, the ability to get all the facts, make a wise decision and belief in yourself. You must learn to be resourceful.

Success after all is doing and accomplishment, and the fourth law of success is DRIVE. Every successful CEO employs drive. He or she have their day scheduled out and push hard toward the final goal, and along the way encourage and drive those under them with incentives and motivational sources lest they loose sight and stagnate. A driven person will not give in to any negative impulse.

There are many books written to help motivate you and get you in the right frame of mind.
